Minister, Worship Committee, and Leadership
The Minister reviewed the history of leadership modes as expressed in the relationship between the Minister and the Worship Committee. In a church as large as ours, is it time for a change? (See "4. Authority and Responsiblity in Worship" in the full minutes.)

Mission of the Worship Committee
The Minister and Worship Committee continued exploration of their respective roles in worship life at MSUUF. Three possible mission statments were explored.

Summer Services 2004
As in past years, next summer we will have one Sunday service starting at 10:00 am. The unifying theme for the summer will be "Unitarian Universalist History".

How many services on December 21st?
We will have our regular two service format on December 21st. (See "9. December 21st Service" in the full minutes.)

How many services on March 28th?
On March 28th, we'll have the MSUUF elections and a Congregational meeting. The Board asked the Worship Committee's opinion about cancelling the second service that day to make more time for the business meeting. The Worship Committee recommends that we maintain our regular worship schedule. Several alternatives for holding the congregational meeting were suggested. (See "7. March 28th Services" in the full minutes.)

Christmas Eve
We will continue our recent practice of holding two services on Christmas Eve. The 6:00 pm serivice is oriented toward families with children. The 9:00 pm service is more directed to adults.
