Music at MSUUF: Music Committee

The Music Committee's mission is to provide a complete music program for spiritual enhancement and entertainment for all ages. We strive to:

Enhance the worship service by

• supporting the Adult and Chime Choirs.
• recruiting featured musicians.
• providing accompanists.
• assisting with hymn repertory and congregational singing.
• presenting a service once a year that is rich in music.
• caring for our musical instruments.

Encourage and foster in-house talent by

• inviting participation in services, coffeehouse-type events.
• encouraging and recruiting for all choirs.
• building a "restricted music fund" for extras like scholarships to workshops.
• celebrating and thanking participants!
  

Reach out to the wider community by

• sponsoring extra events of all music types, such as recitals, coffeehouses, concerts, socials/celebrations.
• participating in inter-church and community choral events.
• inviting community musicians and groups to share their talents with us.
• publicizing extra events.
